About Thomas Sessum
Automation is a passion I found by accident. With a formal education in mechanical engineering and fabrication, a simple PLC programming class flourished into a career path. I enjoy working with all kinds of clients to help meet their goals by creating smart, simple, and scalable solutions.As the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) becomes more prevalent in the industrial sector, a strong knowledge of the available technology and how to use it becomes invaluable to implementing an effective solution. I\'ve worked with large industrial process facilities to help design systems to accomplish fringe data collection and predictive maintenance scheduling. This reduced manpower usage and increase profitability through reduced downtime.On a more personal note, I am a proud dad, world traveler, hobbyist home automator, and self-proclaimed foodie. I love cooking barbecue at home and spending time with my wife, son and daughter, and two black Labrador Retrievers.
