Tony is an award-winning social entrepreneur who turned an old laptop into a thriving company that has helped empower thousands of children worldwide through technology. Tony went from reselling candy treats at age 6, starting his first company at 16 in his hometown in Venezuela, to founding a do-good business venture with retail locations in South America. Tony has the right combination of academia and hard-knocks empirical experience, and one of his strongest competitive advantages is to be able to leverage his diverse background to think and deal in multiple cross-cultural scenarios. He has a passionate desire to always keep learning, challenge the status-quo, and elevate those around him.    eSmart Recycling’s primary mission is to set up computer labs for kids in our local community and in developing countries who don’t have access to technology. We recycle computers, electronics, and IT equipment in order to fund our initiatives. Our partners are responsible for giving children all over the world the opportunity to leave their digital footprint and to make a global impact through technology.In today’s world of fast technology advances, companies are required to upgrade their IT equipment on a constant basis. These companies spend too much time and resources in dealing with IT equipment that gets upgraded, breaks, or stops being useful. It usually also leads to a waste of money and physical space. And yet 70% of their outdated equipment ultimately ends up in a landfill. Many companies have a plan in place to dispose of their equipment yet most of them fail to take advantage of a powerful opportunity to give back.Each company that enters into a partnership with eSmart Recycling increases the global impact our initiatives can have. Our partners are considered good environmental stewards and catalysts in making a social and economic impact in the lives of thousands of children across the globe.All of our corporate partners receive our eSmart Certification. The eSmart Certificate can be displayed on your webpage, corporate office, and marketing materials as a way to show the world that your company is socially responsible and is “Making a Global Impact by Recycling Electronics.”
