Lead a high-performing team of web and full-stack engineers across global time zones to ship cross-functional projects in a remote work setting. Prioritize, plan, and scope the team’s workload with product management and other internal stakeholders. Support team members by: holding regular 1:1s, providing context and clarity on scope of work, removing roadblocks, minimizing meetings, facilitating cross-team collaboration, and resolving conflicts. Grow the careers and develop the skill sets of team members, mentor both junior and senior engineers, and hire and onboard new members. Establish and improve team processes by minimizing repetitive tasks with tooling automation. Drive technical conversations for new feature designs, and contribute to code reviews to ensure best practices and maintainability of the codebase. Fill in gaps in developer capacity by writing code for bot new features and maintenance support.
