Data Visualization Expert Transforming Pipeline Integrity Management Solutions As a globally recognized technical leader and innovator, David has dedicated over 40 years of his career to advancing the field of pipeline integrity management in the upstream oil and gas industry. He is known for collaborating effectively with international, multidisciplinary teams, driving innovation in assessing and mitigating pipeline integrity threats. Throughout his career, David has played a crucial role in redefining industry standards for pipeline integrity assessments and developing cutting-edge mitigation, inspection, and monitoring strategies. With a track record of over 200 successful consulting projects across North America and other global regions, David has consistently delivered exceptional value to clients. David has contributed his expertise to both global service companies and as an independent consulting engineer. In 2007, he co-founded QM4 Engineering Ltd, where he led the development and implementation of novel pipeline management tools. These tools incorporated complex pipeline data models and integrated spatial data to improve hazard assessment and integrity management program design. Currently, David is a Senior Engineer at smart-Project Management Inc, where he provides specialized consulting services in pipeline risk assessment and integrity management to a select group of oil and gas clients. He is also an active member of INGAA and NACE Technical Sub-Committees (USA), where he has contributed to the development of internal corrosion direct assessment (ICDA) standards for gas transmission and wet-gas production pipeline systems by introducing innovative multi-phase fluid flow data integration techniques.
