Electrical Distribution System (EDS) Design Engineer:Provide the design expertise ensuring best practice solutions required to achieve all programme EDS design deliverables. To carry out concept design studies utilizing CAD tools and pre-production builds. Prepare and manage release of ECRs and 2D EDS drawings into customers systems and Yazaki plants. Carry out and participate on site evaluation of product at vehicle assembly plants. • Electrical Distribution System (EDS) TVM Engineer:Design, develop and shape the future of Electrical Distribution Systems (EDS) by finding visionary developments in everything from hybrid vehicles to electrics. Responsible for the Electrical Engineering (EE) department\'s cost/weight reduction projects and Total Value Management (TVM), including management of the EE Design Cost Down (DCD) roadmap.• Electrical System Design: Design & Engineering of Electrical Distribution Systems in compliance with British, Indian, International codes & standards for Conceptual, FEED & Detail Engineering levels in various greenfield & brownfield industrial plants. Detail engineering including system design of electrical facilities, load analysis, sizing of major equipments, hazardous area classification, fault level and voltage drop calculations, preparation of single line diagram, control and protection schemes for switchgear and drawing in AutoCAD.• Engineering For Procurement: Bill of materials (BOM) for various electrical equipment (transformer, DG, motor, MV/LV Switchboard, MV/LV cable, APFC panel, UPS, trailing cable, cable reeling drum) bid evaluation, review / approval of vendor’s drawings.
