About Trung H Tran

I spent 30 years working and deploying data systems. I developed HP\'s first 1U servers for cluster computing and large data farms. I developed semiconductors including large-scale FPGAs, precision timing chips, Memory chips, and 50G transceivers. I built the first terabit 10G Base-T top and end of the rack switches. I fielded petabyte data warehouses and lake houses for the DoD and IC at Accenture Federal Services. This led to data algorithms that formed the brains of these systems. I have developed 14 AI solutions for private and public customers and oversaw the deployment of 4 of those systems into production. This mixture of HW, SW, and system experience gives me a unique perspective on how large-scale technology products are specified, developed, and fielded. I have been able to advise public and private leadership on their technology roadmap and set up processes that allow for the upgrade and maintenance of those systems. I have built large and small teams and have mentored young engineers with diverse backgrounds. Helping them to see not only the potential of new technologies but also their potential. I am a leader who does not mind getting his hands dirty, specializing in Python coding for data pipelines and AI algorithms. My approach to technology is to love the problem and not the approach. There are many ways to solve an issue and being too attached to any one solution can lead to disastrous results. Problems are human-centric, and I am only satisfied when I solve my customers’ problems. My record of 72 products worth $2.2B in revenue is a testament to that approach.
