Hi, I’m Truman Morlan, a student at Des Moines Area Community College pursuing my Associate of Arts in Liberal Arts, with plans to attend the University of Northern Iowa in Fall 2026.I currently work at Hy-Vee, where I’ve held multiple positions that strengthened my leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment. I also have experience as a cook at B-Bop’s, which helped me understand the value of consistency, efficiency, and teamwork under pressure.Through my experiences, I’ve developed strong knowledge and interest in economics, accounting, marketing, business strategy, and information systems. I’m confident working with Microsoft applications and enjoy applying my skills in both collaborative and independent settings.In the workplace, my approach centers on building strong relationships, understanding how every part of a business connects, and continuously learning how to create value for customers and coworkers alike. I believe that great results come from curiosity, communication, and consistency.My goal right now is to secure a summer internship in accounting, where I can gain hands-on experience, contribute to a team, and continue developing my professional and creative skills.
