ABOUT TRULY TINSLEY
A dedicated international affairs professional committed to fostering a more peaceful global environment with a focus on U.S-China relations. I am interested in Chinese foreign policy, track 2 and public diplomacy, human rights in Asia, and U.S. foreign policy in the Indo-Pacific.I currently serve as the Associate Director of the China Power Project at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS), where I help lead efforts to unpack the complexity and implications of rising Chinese power through data visualization and expert analysis. Prior to joining CSIS, I worked in operations at Democracy International, an international development organization dedicated to advancing peace and democracy through programming in politics, governance, peace and resilience, and learning.I hold a Master’s degree in International Affairs with a focus on Asia from the Elliott School of International Affairs at George Washington University, and a BA in International Studies and Chinese Language from Trinity University in Texas.
