WORK HISTORY
Director @Tray.Ai
I lead engineering teams across our R&D division, owning our most customer-critical product surfaces, including AI and Agent capabilities, Connectors, and the full footprint of the UI experience. My role sits at the intersection of Product ambition, technical delivery, and people leadership. I build and scale high-performing teams that execute with clarity and accountability, hiring and growing engineers, creating clear ownership, and strengthening alignment across engineering, product, and design.I partner closely with Product and executive leadership to turn strategy into clear technical direction and execution. Driving clear prioritisation, deliberate trade-offs, and delivery. The result is sustained momentum, and a high quality product that customers adopt and depend on.A core focus of my leadership is embedding AI intentionally into both product capabilities and engineering workflows, enabling teams to adopt AI tools in ways that measurably increase velocity while maintaining strong quality standards. While operating at a strategic level, I stay close enough to the technical details to ask the right questions, support strong judgment, and unblock complex challenges. I focus on creating clarity, enabling teams, and building organisations that can scale sustainably.

ABOUT TRUDY LARSEN
Director of Engineering and product focused leader who thrives in fast pace environments where every day impact truly matters.I lead engineering organisations to turn complex ideas into shipped products, and to continually improve them at scale. I see my role as a multiplier: unblocking teams, growing strong leaders, and building the clarity and systems that increase a team’s ability to deliver meaningful customer value predictably.I partner closely with executive leadership, Product, and Design to translate strategy into execution. Strengthening delivery, operational rhythms, and cross-functional alignment as organisations grow.I’ve led and scaled many engineering teams, developed engineers (at all levels), shaped organisational design during periods of growth, and supported hiring to build strong, high performing teams.I care deeply about what we build and how roadmaps are shaped, because clear direction is what enables teams to move quickly and sustainably. Strong engineering organisations are intentional, they are built on clarity, trust, accountability, and thoughtful decision-making.
