Joined PwC in 2004 as a graduate working on a variety of non-life insurance projects. Qualified as a FIA in December 2007 and based in Edinburgh after spending five years working out of London. Reserving experience covers both personal and commercial lines of business, including UK and US liability, with strong experience in reserving for APH liabilities. This includes the estimation of liabilities at a ground-up level for commutation purposes. Commutation work involved defending my analysis to a wide range of people including lawyers and company CEOs.Experience in both London Market and regional insurers reserve process throughout UK and Ireland, including reviews of methodology and key assumptions as well as risk control measures.
