   Vice President & General Counsel (2020-Present)- Corporate Counsel (20••••20)$700M PE-backed corporate structure with several verticals spanning the U.S. Spearheaded efforts to significantly reduce risk profile, developing a robust, standardized framework of policies, procedures, & protections. Built Legal from the ground up, creating the means to prevent/minimize risk exposure & ensure accountability, transparency, & integrity across the enterprise. Decreased legal spend by $1.4M. Direct all aspects of corporate legal matters, including M&A, business formation & structuring, government bids, insurance claims, bonds, contract disputes, collections, & litigation management, controlling a $2M+ budget. Collaborate with senior staff across all functions to ensure adherence to corporate policies & process compliance. Extend focus beyond the baseline introduction of rules/guidelines to emphasize the provision of support that enabled the businesses to function more effectively. Championed “one company” initiative effort to consolidate all businesses under a single corporate umbrella & operate as a unified organization adhering to uniform policies, procedures, & standards regardless of location.
