About Troy Lanier
With more than 15 years of experience in startups, Troy has helped to grow several companies. He has served as a founder, cofounder, and VP of Product, and VP of Innovation. Working with product teams, he has created software, entertainment, and education products that have been used by Fortune 100 companies, major league sports teams, and respected consumer brands. Troy combines his technical background with an educator’s passion in order to find the salient magic within technical products and then translate, simplify, and ultimately create narratives for various constituencies including end users, marketing teams, product teams, patent attorneys, boards, and investors. Presently he is developing solutions for online learning spaces that also require physical labs, equipment, and hands on experiences. This includes science, engineering, and makerspaces.
