Playtika develops, markets and operates free-to-play social games primarily on social networks such as Facebook and on mobile platforms such as iOS and Android. Playtika was acquired by a subsidiary of Caesars in 2011 and then sold in 2016. During this time, I was responsible for the Playtika entity accounting initially as part of Caesars Entertainment and then as the Chief Accounting Officer of Caesars Acquisition Company. During the summer of 2019, I was sought out by the CFO of Playtika to return to Playtika and build the finance infrastructure consistent with that necessary for a US public company- Overseeing all aspects of US Tax accounting and compliance, including tax planning, the evaluation of the impacts of the Wayfair decision and the implementation of OneSource- Building an internal audit function, including the hiring of personnel and developing the company-wide risk assessment and associated audit plans - Integral part of the pre-transaction marketing and post-term-sheet diligence processes for $2.5 billion debt transaction and currently ongoing private placement transaction - Technologically enabling the accounting team and improving process efficiency through the implementations of Oracle’s consolidation and close solution, ShareWorks’ equity administration platform, and Workiva’s modules for SEC/Financial Reporting and SOX compliance- Reduced quarterly US GAAP financial reporting cycle time by about 30% through process improvement activities prior to the expected impacts of the currently ongoing Oracle implementation
