1. Asset Protection and Physical Security Manager at Kroger Distribution

   I manage, prioritize, and oversee the day-to-day company operations and activities of both armed and unarmed contracted teams of professional security personnel to ensure the protection of the company’s employees, visitors, assets, information, and reputation to improve organizational outcomes while mitigating risk and company loss. I conduct root cause analysis investigations to identify and reduce the company’s shrink by partnering with all areas of operations. I am the administrator for network video surveillance, intrusion detection, and access control systems. I conduct physical security evaluations including risk, vulnerability, and CPTED assessments at sites throughout the enterprise to identify and mitigate threats through the implementation of preventative security strategies and best practices for contracted security personnel.Selected Achievements: • Negotiated and implemented a direct contract with an armed security company for armed security officers on site 24/7 resulting in a savings per year.• Planned, designed, procured, presented, and oversaw the implementation of a physical security technology infrastructure upgrade including new access control system, new door intrusion detection system, cameras, restricted entrance to property and building to protect the assets of a square foot distribution center.• Design and configure video surveillance, intrusion detection, and access control remediations throughout the enterprise.• Designed and implemented new processes of transparency, accountability, and documentation to promote protection of company assets and reduction of loss.
