Work with like-minded altruistic community members to raise funds to defeat homelessness in Austin, Texas. Identify, cultivate, solicit and steward major gifts to enable Caritas to serve over 600 people experiencing homelessness in 2021. Forge strong relationships with major donors: individual philanthropists, corporations, and local businesses to help them continually understand the impact of their care and giving. Lead the Major Giving Program, involving donors giving to annually; the Planned Giving Program; and the Community Advisory Board, a group of key volunteer leaders who advocate for Caritas in the community. Work collaboratively with program staff, executive staff, and volunteer leadership to build a stronger organization and more substantive resources to support the most marginalized in our community.
