As the Medical Administrative Officer (MAO) at Rickenbacker Air National Guard Base, I am responsible for directing and managing all medical administrative functions for the 121st Air Refueling Wing and its tenant units and GSUs. I have over 28 years of medical services experience, including laboratory, logistics, information systems, readiness, safety, personnel and resource management. I have a Master of Business Administration (MBA) and an Associate of Applied Science in Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT).In my role, I serve as a full-time partner with the Wing Commander and other senior leaders in planning, implementing, and executing medical programs that support the federal and state missions of the Air National Guard. I also function as the Medical Group Commander in his absence and represent the medical group in the Wing Crisis Activation Team and the Emergency Management Committee. I pride myself on a high level of integrity, service before self, and excellence in all I do. My goal is to deliver top-level healthcare to service members and their families and to ensure medical readiness and capability for any contingency.
