Transitioning from a law enforcement officer to a Cloud DevOps Engineer may seem like a significant shift, but in reality, it\'s simply a change in the kind of problems I solve.I spent several years of my career serving in law enforcement. It was rewarding, challenging and gave me skills that I never imagined could be transferable to the tech world. Teamwork, communication, the ability to stay cool under pressure, and more importantly, problem-solving, were just as essential in my tech career as they were for Norfolk PD.The road wasn\'t always smooth. The transition from a Police Officer to Cloud Engineer was a challenging one, full of late nights and steep learning curves.Fast forward to now, I can confidently say that swapping handcuffs for a keyboard was one of the best decisions I\'ve made.
