Directly responsible for leading Jamestown’s Timberland Investment Management Organization (TIMO), which oversees three closed-end funds, as well as its new open-end fund. Total Fund AUM is over $230 million with more than acres of institutional quality timberland in the US South and Northeast. • Instrumental in creating Jamestown’s innovative open-end timber fund which provides quarterly liquidity to investors while maximizing the long-term biological potential of a sustainably managed forest • Evergreen structure allows for the pursuit of accretive projects like carbon offsets, mitigation banks, and conservation easements that take time to develop • Raised over $145 million of capital for the new fund and acquired more than acres • Restructured Jamestown’s timberland governance policies and created a Timberland Investment Committee to act as a Board of Directors for existing timberland funds • Evaluated and reorganized service providers which significantly lowered fund level costs and created more efficient and stream-lined operations • Through strong networks and relationships rebranded Jamestown in the timberland investment space so that it is well positioned to take advantage of current and future opportunities in acquisitions and capital raise
