Skilled in various areas of film production including: camera operating, casting, editing, sound design, stagecraft, rigging, lighting, etc. I am always looking to expand my skill set and knowledge base so feel free to reach out As A special effects coordinator we oversee the design, creation, and operation of on-set mechanical, electrical, artificial, and explosive effects throughout a production. This includes rain and snow, hurricanes, car crashes, building destructions, fire blasts, special prosthetic makeup, gunshot wounds, high-speed chases in space, and flesh-eating zombies.(In contrast, visual effects aka VFX are implemented in post-production, after principal photography is finished.) “We organize and, in a sense, invent the practical aesthetics…. anything that has to be duplicated onscreen but does not actually happen at that particular time in reality [is the responsibility of] the special effects coordinator,”
