About Trond Mathisen
Dynamic energy executive with a broad O&G background having worked technical, supervisory and management roles within various M&A, reserves, business planning/development, reservoir/production, field developments/operations, portfolio optimization, drilling/completions, and project execution settings. I have had the fortunate experience to help manage various small groups as well as large organizations (up to 1,800 people) across multiple functions and countries/continents.These roles have been with both development / startups and mature production assets in North & South America, West, East & North Africa, Europe (North Sea, Germany, the Netherlands, & Italy), the Caspian area and select areas of Asia Pacific and the Middle East. In addition, I have extensive experiences within the onshore and offshore (including deepwater) environments having worked both conventional and unconventional assets, operated and non-operated properties (including JV settings) in tax, royalty, and PSC fiscal regimes.I have an MBA from Rice University and a both a BS and MS in Petroleum Engineering from Texas A&M University.
