About Tristan Johnson

I started coding for the fun of it while I taught philosophy, but now, after Covid, I code for my life! I work tirelessly to expand my skill set and develop myself as a software engineer so that I can one day contribute something remarkable to society.

I do two main things. First, I help ensure that our suite of tests continues to pass continuous integration either by fixing failing tests that are either broken or not testing correctly, or by fixing bugs in our app indicated by a failing test. Second, I help create new features for the app by designing (at the coding level) an implementation of the feature, and then actually coding it. This involves coding for both the frontend and the backend. The stack I use right now is JavaScript, MongoDb, Vue, and Node.js.
