My primary role as a Mobile Operations Supervisor is to manage any type of remote deployment & setup of digital mobile dailies processing labs to temporary nearest bases in Europe, Africa, and the Middle East.Determining the specifications of equipment based on the production\'s requirements, working with Unit Production Managers & local vendors to ensure network, power & logistics are provided, as well as supplying accurate manifest information for carnet creation if required.Before deployment, setting up the dailies workflow, defining camera format extraction, colour pipeline, Avid & streaming spec, testing kit & software, and verifying that an end-to-end workflow is run to ensure smooth onward flow down the post chain after dailies processing has been delivered. This role has enhanced my skills in working well under pressure in a deadline-driven environment, able to interpret and demonstrate a solid understanding of the latest trends in filmmaking and identify changing requirements, leading to recommending and developing solutions to best serve unexpected variables. I provide technical & workflow documentation, first-line support to the dailies team, and identify areas where processes can be more efficient and constantly evolve best practices. I\'m part of the global security council and maintain & enforce best practices for content security and client confidentiality.Software and areas of support: Colourfront OSD and EXD; Davinci Resolve; Avid; Yoyota; Pomfort Silverstack.Secure Content Distribution: Pix, Flow Capture, MASVio, Frameio, Aspera & Colorfront Streaming Server; Sohonet Clearview.Remote Services: NoMachine, HP-RGS, JUMP, RDC.Engineering: SANtricity, Stornext; QualStar; SymplyStorage; NetApp; TigerStore; ATTO, HPE, Brocade; Mellanox + Network & Storage configurations & hardware/driver installations.
