After DeltaTek’s acquisition by Expro in 2023, my journey as an innovator in well construction technology entered a transformative new chapter. Joining Expro’s global well construction team, my team were able to leverage their extensive operational footprint and resources to accelerate the international deployment of our technologies— Cure® Technologies, and ArticuLock®—across major offshore markets including the UK, Norway, the Americas, West Africa, Asia Pacific, and Australia.Integrating DeltaTek’s disruptive open water cementing solutions into Expro’s comprehensive well construction portfolio allowed us to deliver even greater value to clients. Our technologies directly addressed persistent industry challenges: improving cement placement, reducing wait-on-cement times, eliminating the need for shoetracks, and enhancing well integrity and operational efficiency. Through Expro’s channels, we rapidly expanded the reach of the Cure and ArticuLock® portfolios, simplifying global adoption and enabling operators to achieve significant rig time and cost savings while minimizing operational risks.A personal highlight was witnessing the 100th global deployment of SeaCure® during a five-well subsea campaign in Australia—a milestone that underscored the scalability and reliability of our solutions in complex offshore environments. Our integrated approach, combining cementing technologies with Expro’s established capabilities in casing, completions, and downhole service tools, empowered operators to overcome critical well construction challenges, from deepwater Gulf of Mexico projects to remote Asia Pacific operations.As Expro continued to invest in innovation, we expanded our well construction offering with advanced technologies like the Blackhawk™ Cement Head, further optimizing operational efficiency, safety, and sustainability for our clients. This chapter has been defined by global scale, as we deliver more reliable solutions for the energy sector’s evolving needs.
