Cinema Verde, an Environmental Film and Arts Festival in Gainesville, Florida, was created to raise awareness of environmental issues through the arts. We will hold our fourth annual festival in February 2013. Cinema Verde is a not-for-profit environmental film festival produced by to help build sustainable communities. Cinema Verde Environmental Film and Arts Festival provides environmental education to the public through film, arts, workshops, events, tours: we make protecting the planet fun. We bring community organizations, businesses and citizens together to help forge sustainable solutions for our future. Our vision is to expand the reach of environmental information to inspire, educate and engage participants in sustainable business and lifestyle solutions.
