About Trishika Singla
From hospital corridors in rural Punjab to the sleek offices of New York’s design and media world, my journey has always been driven by one question: how can we design better systems—for people, for policy, and for the public good?Growing up around doctors, I developed a natural curiosity for healthcare. But it wasn’t until I began my degree in Strategic Design and Management at Parsons that I discovered the power of merging creativity with systems thinking. While my peers were analyzing brands, I found myself developing low-cost diagnostic methods for sexual assault cases—using litmus paper in outpatient clinics—to bring dignity and speed to a broken process.This passion for impact also shaped my professional path. At Hugo Boss, I helped optimize marketing campaigns across North America using Google analytics. At Foreign Affairs, I dove into digital infrastructure—tagging metadata and supporting editorial workflows to ensure stories were accessible, accurate, and protected. Along the way, I honed my skills in research, storytelling, and stakeholder engagement, always guided by the belief that real change happens when strategy meets empathy.Now, as I near the completion of my degree, I’m focused on building a future where health, design, and data come together to solve hard problems—with a sense of purpose, and a deep respect for the people at the heart of every challenge.
