You may have seen me featured as military veteran in 2021 in Military Families Magazine or on Hiring America TV in 20••••20 as a featured entrepreneur-or recognized my face as a Standout Air Force Veteran and Spouse in Military Officer Magazine in 2018. So what do I do? I am a commercial photographer specializing in headshot, branding and corporate event photography in the Washington, D.C. metro area. I connect with my individual, business, and non-profit clients to create and capture their personal and professional stories.From the first time I could hold and shoot my mom\'s 35mm Canon Sure Shot (using film and a camera now considered \"vintage\") at 9 years old, I found my first passion in life in photography. I expanded into pencil sketches, ink drawings and watercolors-and pursued a minor in Art studies at university. Like many artists, I channel my creativity into other professional endeavors-getting results through creative innovation and overcoming obstacles through my passion and drive.I provide a high-touch, insightful experience to every client-whether it\'s at a 15-minute express headshot or an all-day corporate event. Pairing advance online research and referral networking with meaningful client interactions, I find the story that clients have struggled to capture on their own. My work has been published in international press releases and marketing campaigns for clients as well as publications such as: Military Families Magazine, Reserve and National Guard Magazine, Military Influencer Magazine, Military.com, Task & Purpose, National Military Spouse Network Magazine and Military Spouse Magazine. I am also an active advocate for military service members and their families as you can see in my volunteer work as well as with my corporate and non-profit clients. I pushed past my own perceived limits while serving to overcome self-doubt and learn how to step up and take the lead when no one else wanted it.
