ABOUT TRISHA P.

Trisha is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who provides care for her patients in the Nurse Practitioner-Therapist role at NW ADHD Treatment Center. She performs comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, and manages ADHD, along with many of the concurring psychiatric disorders her patients may also have. Her approach is person-centered and collaborative. Trisha understands that all people are complex and unique. Because of this, she works with her patients to develop holistic individualized treatment plans—often including medications, education, skills training, and psychotherapy (including Lifespan Integration, EMDR, and the Flash Technique). She believes people with ADHD can create vibrant and fulfilling lives when they have the right tools; and she’s excited to support her patient’s personal-growth journeys as they learn what works best for them. Trisha has experience in working with the following populations: women, men, non-binary and gender-nonconforming folks, LGBTQIA2S+ individuals, perinatal (including those who experience infertility, traumatic births, grief and loss), professionals in STEM fields (healthcare, engineering, and research), entrepreneurs + business owners, artists + creatives, people who have struggled with substance use, and survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking. Prior to becoming a Nurse Practitioner, Trisha worked as a bedside nurse for 12 years. Through this work, she developed a passion for patient advocacy, specifically within underserved, minority, and at-risk populations. She believes that every human has the right to be treated with respect and to have their needs and concerns taken seriously.
