As the Director of Business Administration for a multi-site non-profit organization, I have leveraged my strengths in people, processes, and plans to direct all aspects of HR, guide business and financial teams to accomplish fiscal goals and support special projects. For example, I am currently working to create the business office for our newest campus, including establishing and implementing financial processes and budgets. Previous special projects include implementing new payroll, health insurance, and benefits systems, policies, and processes that generated significant savings and streamlined operations. Key contributions include the following: Direct payroll, benefits (health, vision, dental, retirement, and life insurance), compensation, and evaluations. Ensure alignment with laws and regulations by collaborating with HR firm to monitor compliance with ACA, DOL, EEOC, ADA, and other wage and labor laws. Transformed complex vacation/sick/personal/holiday time off policy into simple, comprehensive PTO policy that drove significant time and resource savings for church. Directed business and financial teams to accomplish goals in the areas of financial systems, forecasting, payroll, purchasing activity and contracts. Supported streamlined system by directing development of policy and procedure manual that reflected new payroll system and PTO policy, including coaching and training staff on revisions. Drove significant, residual savings by researching, identifying, and spearheading migration to new third-party electronic payment processor for online giving. Accommodated growth by driving transition to more robust payroll company, including implementing GL system, importing previous files, teaching employees new features, and training hourly staff on timeclock system. Simplified budgeting by creating comprehensive spreadsheet that pulled all 3 campuses into consolidated budget, making data easier to read, interpret, and use in decision making.
