Systems Innovation is a new approach to innovation and change that is better suited to addressing complex changes. This is because it takes a more holistic approach, looking to understand and address the wide variety of factors and actors that constitute complex challenges such as decarbonizing a city, inequalities, plastic pollution, or cybersecurity. What is the \"why\" We have developed the Si Network because we believe systems innovation is needed for us to make more transformative and systemic change in addressing critical, complex challenges. The same old thinking is going to create the same old results; we need something new that goes beyond our industrial age logic. As such, we are on a mission to develop a network that empowers people to connect with others, learn these new ideas, and collaborate in co-creating in different sectors and locations. We envision an innovation ecosystem that will empower people to understand complex systems better and have the opportunity to collaborate in developing systems that work and work for everyone.
