After 5 years of private equity and investment banking experience, I was presented with an entrepreneurial opportunity to join Mountain West Vacation Rentals (“MWVR”) and Coastal Breeze Vacation Rentals (“CBVR”) to build it into the leading tech-enabled vacation rental and property management business in the market. As Vice President of Strategy and Finance, I am leading MWVR and CBVR in the pursuit of our vision of leveraging cutting-edge technology to deliver exceptional locally tailored service and superior income generation for property owners at highly competitive commission rates across the country. Operating in three distinct markets today—Park City, Utah; Southwest Florida (Fort Myers Beach and Marco Island); and Marathon Key, FL—we aim to continue our aggressive growth within these regions and expand throughout the U.S. Prior to transitioning to my current role as Vice President of Strategy and Finance at MWVR and CBVR, I was a Private Equity Associate at Mountaingate Capital (“Mountaingate”), where I spent 3 years developing a deep investing acumen across a variety of verticals in the middle market, focusing on backing and supporting founder-owned businesses. By partnering with entrepreneurial management teams, we were able to advance our companies into industry leaders through a customer-centric organic and buy-and-build value creation strategy and achieve transformative growth. During this time, I also successfully executed numerous platform and add-on acquisitions which drove tremendous growth across Mountaingate’s portfolio. Prior to Mountaingate, I served as an Investment Banking Analyst at Piper Sandler (formerly Piper Jaffray), where I partnered with several industry-leading middle-market businesses, facilitating multiple sizeable sales and providing support for numerous buy-side and equity issuance engagements.Prior to starting my career, I graduated summa cum laude from the University of Denver, Daniels College of Business where I double majored in finance and accounting and minored in mathematics.
