   Hereford Dooley Architects, Inc. is a dedicated team of professionals providing architectural design services with licenses in nearly half the states across the country. Thomas Dooley opened the Nashville office in 1994 when he partnered with Lyman+Davidson of Atlanta to form Lyman Davidson Dooley. William E. Hereford, (Trip) had seven years of experience when he joined the firm in 2006. His past experience included the design of many types of public work including schools, jails, police/fire/EMS stations, libraries, and office buildings. Trip quickly acquired many responsibilities and obtained a leadership role, co-managing the local studio and business operations. In 2014, the Nashville studio proposed a reorganization and parted with the Atlanta based firm to establish Hereford Dooley Architects. A few years later we expanded our physical presence to the Birmingham, AL market, and we currently have 16 team members, four of whom are licensed architects, and three are LEED accredited. We are a diverse, resilient, and productive team who works hard and believes in the importance of our mission and values. Celebrating 25 years this year, we are guided by our purpose to connect ideas, people, and spaces through thoughtful engagement and responsible design.
