As Program Manager II, I lead the Youth Apprenticeship Connections Program (YACP) and Youth Employment Connections Program (YECP) across multiple regions in Alberta, supporting youth aged 16–24 (and up to 30 through transition programming) in building sustainable employment and apprenticeship pathways.I oversee program operations, contract performance, budgeting, and reporting while ensuring high-quality, trauma-informed, and culturally responsive service delivery. My role involves strategic employer engagement, community partnerships, and collaboration with government funders to strengthen access to skilled trades, employment readiness, and long-term career development.Key areas of focus include:• Apprenticeship pathway development and employer partnerships• Labour market alignment and regional workforce strategy• Team leadership, coaching, and performance management• Budget oversight and contract compliance• Stakeholder engagement across industry, education, and government• Indigenous and culturally grounded collaboration initiativesI am passionate about breaking systemic barriers for youth transitioning from care and those facing complex life circumstances. Through relationship-driven leadership and community collaboration, I work to create tangible employment outcomes that build confidence, stability, and long-term economic independence.
