I founded The Layne Project 4 Families to ensure that every child has access to healing, support, and stability—regardless of their family’s financial circumstances.TLP4Families was born out of necessity when it became clear that the previous service model at The Layne Project—serving over 60% of families who could not afford services—was no longer financially sustainable. Rather than close the doors, I convened over 30 local professionals to co-create a new solution: a nonprofit that could carry forward the mission and increase access to care.Today, TLP4Families provides direct services to families navigating divorce, custody, and family conflict. Services include supervised parenting time, court-involved therapy, child-inclusive mediation, and trauma-informed parent education.Key accomplishments: • Currently spearheading the transition of over $700K in infrastructure from The Layne Project to TLP4Families, ensuring continuity of care. • Secured 501(c)(3) status in record time of 16 days • Built a community-centered board and launched strategic fundraising efforts • Positioned TLP4Families as the direct service provider of court-approved programs including Keyframe, Pause, and BeH2O®Our work is grounded in the belief that childhood should be safeguarded—not sidelined—in times of family disruption. TLP4Families is making that belief real, one family at a time.
