As Related Midwest’s vice president of marketing, Tricia Van Horn leads corporate and project branding, media relations, public affairs, sales and leasing strategies, event management, and overall communications and marketing across the multibillion-dollar Related Midwest portfolio. Since 2012, Van Horn’s marketing leadership at Related Midwest has been instrumental in the successful launch, sale and lease-up of Chicago’s most anticipated for-sale and rental properties, most recently with the 70-story One Bennett Park – the firm’s newest addition to Chicago’s luxury residential market and the city’s first high-rise designed by Robert A.M. Stern Architects. She also leads the integrated marketing and leasing strategies for pioneering affordable developments such as Lathrop, a multi-year, multi-phase renovation of one of Chicago’s largest public housing communities into a mixed-income development with market rate, affordable and subsidized apartments.In her role, Van Horn also spearheads communications and marketing for The 78: Chicago’s largest under-construction development, which is transforming a vacant 62-acre downtown site along the South Branch of the Chicago River into a master-planned, mixed-use neighborhood. Additionally, she leads pre-development research and planning for the firm’s pipeline projects, including 725 W. Randolph and 900 W. Randolph in the West Loop and 400 N. Lake Shore Drive in Streeterville.

ABOUT TRICIA VAN HORN
As Senior Vice President of Marketing and Communications for Related Midwest, I lead all marketing and public relations campaigns, corporate and project branding, sales and leasing strategies, and internal communications. In my career, I have led the successful launch, lease-up and closeout of over new rental and for-sale residences across Chicago, spanning luxury condominium developments, mixed-use apartment towers, and affordable and mixed-income housing communities. My notable projects include The Row, a Morris Adjmi-designed rental tower in the Fulton Market District, and One Bennett Park, the city’s first high-rise designed by Robert A.M. Stern Architects. I also oversees integrated marketing and leasing strategies for pioneering affordable and mixed-income developments, such as Lathrop, a multiyear, multiphase transformation of the historic Julia C. Lathrop Homes and Roosevelt Square, on Chicago’s west side. Van Horn also spearheads marketing efforts for Related Midwest’s master-planned projects, including the 440-acre Quantum Shore, whose first phase will be anchored by the Illinois Quantum & Microelectronics Park. Another current project includes The 78, a 62-acre mixed-use neighborhood redevelopment along the South Branch of the Chicago River that will be the new home of the Chicago Fire FC, and 400 Lake Shore, a pair of residential towers being built at the confluence of Lake Michigan and the Chicago River in Streeterville. A licensed real estate broker and member of the Chicago Association of Realtors®, I hold a bachelor’s degree in communications from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. I also serve on the Board of Directors for the Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce.
