ABOUT TRICIA ROTHSCHILD
Entrepreneurial and change-oriented financial services executive and independent board director with experience leading software, data, analytics, and research P & Ls from start-up to global scale. My goal is to help people gain confidence in their financial lives—by leveraging technology to make their experiences with money more meaningful and relevant-and by driving efficiency and more cost-effective outcomes for both investors and the advisors who support them. In my career, I\'ve served both retail investors and institutions who were keen to use technology to reduce friction and improve outcomes. As the Chief Product Officer and Co-Head of Global Markets at Morningstar-a leading provider of independent research in 27 countries-I managed a multi-million-dollar P&L supported by global teams of technologists, designers, researchers, product managers, and marketers. In my 26-year career at the firm, I created online investment services for individual investors, and developed and led the firm’s equity research business. From 20••••19, I brought financial and operational discipline to core software, data, and index businesses by containing costs and also driving growth. I am currently an operating partner with Advent International, and sit on the boards of data and wealth-tech firms Nitrogen and Canoe Intelligence. As a board director, I successfully led a CEO leadership transition, guided the exit of Y Charts to LLR Partners, and served as risk committee chair and audit committee member for the CFA Institute.Experience: start-up and pre-revenue leadership | public-company executive in a highly matrixed global environment | strategic M&A | public cloud (AWS) software transition | product management expertise | research- and data-driven analytics | complex multi-product GTM | strategy consultant and board member | audit & risk committee experience | creative, approachable, candid & energetic leaderI hold a bachelor’s degree from Northwestern University, a master’s in Russian and East European economics from Indiana University, and the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation.I was honored to appear on Financial Planning’s 2021 “Most Likely to Change Wealth Management” list, and received Investment News’ 2020 “Women to Watch” award.
