The Director of the Freed Center for the Performing Arts is primarily responsible for the business and administrative functions of the Freed Center for the Performing Arts- Supervise and manage all day-to-day, performance, and event front-of-house operations including oversight of staff and volunteers, ticket sales, house management, venue safety, and security, and ensuring that facilities receive appropriate support- Administer CRM ticketing software and hardware functionality and maintenance, event and series implementation and scaling, patron data analysis and reporting, and all other administrative responsibilities associated with CRM ticketing software and hardware- Manage Freed Center budget including allocation of funds and forecasting annual, capital, and long-term needs- Supervise the box office including the management and oversight of ticket fulfillment processing, CRM payment processing, customer service best practices implementation, and bookkeeping, reporting, and cash management- Develop and implement strategic marketing and public relations plan for internal and external communications in collaboration with University Communications & Marketing- Coordinate agreements for internal and external usage of the Freed Center venue- Work closely with academic departments to carry out calendar deman- Support the fundraising efforts of the Office of University Advancement- Steward relationships with donors including Angel for the Arts members and season underwriters- Recruit, train, and supervise a staff consisting of student workers that strengthens a collaborative learning environment and co-curricular programs- Develop and implement front-of-house security, safety, and evacuation procedures in alignment with industry standards and practices to ensure compliance with building and fire codes as well as University policies and procedures- Oversee renewals of University ASCAP, SESAC, BMI, and Global Music Rights contracts
