Entrusted with the overall operation of an award-winning workforce development agency providing job training, placement, and support services to job seekers and businesses in the Portland metro area. As part of the executive management team, I provide strategic leadership and guidance to staff, community partners, and our public-private Board of Directors. I am responsible for company-wide achievement of our Strategic Plan goals through a blend of people management, team oversight, collaboration and continuous improvement. I oversee all operational functions, staff and departments including fiscal, MIS, IT, communications, purchasing/procurement, compliance/risk assessment, and research. I designed and implemented an innovative hybrid work model that provides maximum flexibility for employees while ensuring the agency\'s high standards for performance excellence are met. During my tenure, the agency received the Excellence Award from the National Association of Workforce Boards.
