The aim of Communicare is to reduce loneliness. This currently happens through hundreds of volunteers being paired with isolated people to visit, telephone befriend, support with shopping and various other tasks, as well as running lunch clubs and other events to gather people into community. My role is to expand the reach and help the CEO to put in place new creative ways of combatting loneliness in our city
