ABOUT THOMAS RICCIO
Geotechnical Engineer at Global Maritime with several years experience in the offshore geotechnical industry. Recently successfully completed my PhD (2025) at The University of Dundee. This investigated the installation effects on the performance of axially and laterally loaded pile foundations in chalk and other soft rock. Thesis and publications available on request. Awarded the 55th British Geotechnical Association cooling prize relating to works completed during PhD. Certified for offshore works (full BOSIET) with a focus on client representation. Completed various offshore campaigns supporting clients for offshore geotechnical site investigations. Working towards CEng status.
