About Trey Taylor
I believe that citizens should play an active part in making their communities and state better places to live. My journey has taken me into and the public square—not just to build organizations, but to help make them more responsive and human.I started my career at WebMD, working on mergers and acquisitions that changed how healthcare data flows in America. Over the years, I’ve invested in more than 300 startups, built and led teams in financial services, insurance, and real estate, and shared lessons learned with fellow CEOs and local leaders.Outside of business, I try to serve wherever I’m needed: as a campaign volunteer, board member, or advisor—sometimes in official roles, sometimes just pitching in at the local level. I’m most proud when I see neighbors and coworkers step up, grow, and solve problems together. My wife, Sheya, and I raise our family in South Georgia. We travel often for work and fun, and do our best to help the next generation find their way.
