About Trey Noland
I began my consulting geology career in the energy sector in 2003, consulting on unconventional natural gas research and production before shifting gears to focus on brownfield assessment and cleanup. Steering multi-year federal grant projects, my current focus includes transforming sites with environmental challenges into assets for community revitalization. I have called the Birmingham area home since moving to the Magic City from south Alabama in 2007. In 2017, I helped found the Alabama Brownfields Association to promote the cleanup and redevelopment of contaminated and blighted properties.
