About Trey Lord
With over 15 years of experience in international climate change policy, natural climate solutions, and sustainable development, I am a Senior Technical Manager with 1t.org US at American Forests. I lead the 1t.org US Community of Practice, a global initiative to conserve, restore, and grow one trillion trees by 2030, and provide technical expertise on forest ecosystem conservation, restoration, reforestation, international climate policy, carbon markets, biodiversity markets, and public-private partnerships. I am passionate about advancing intersectional environmentalism and nature-based solutions for climate change mitigation and adaptation, social justice, and economic development.
