ABOUT TREY CELAYA

I am a senior Marketing major at Georgia College & State University with a strong passion for continuous learning and professional development. Throughout my academic journey, I have built a solid foundation in business principles, communication, and leadership—both in the classroom and through active campus involvement.As the elected President of Kappa Sigma Fraternity, I’ve had the privilege of leading a large organization, coordinating events, managing teams, and cultivating meaningful relationships. This role has sharpened my ability to lead with accountability, think strategically, and foster collaboration.My professional experience began early—at just 13 years old—working for Ambos Seafoods. There, I developed a strong work ethic and gained hands-on experience in sales, customer service, and warehouse operations, all under the guidance of seasoned mentors.In the summer of 2024, I interned with West Construction, where I gained exposure to the construction industry, specifically the operations and responsibilities of a superintendent. It was a rewarding experience with a company known for its strong culture and reputation in the Savannah area.Currently, I’m interning at Sterling Seacrest Pritchard, where I’m deepening my understanding of the insurance industry. This opportunity has introduced me to the intricacies of risk management and client relations, and has reinforced my interest in combining strategic thinking with relationship-driven business development.I\'m eager to continue growing and exploring opportunities at the intersection of marketing, leadership, and professional services.
