Vincent “Trey” Tumminello is a partner with Taylor, Porter, Brooks & Phillips, where he practices primarily in the areas of commercial transactions, sports law, and real estate. His experience includes organizing business entities, negotiating and drafting asset purchase agreements, stock sale agreements, commercial leases, loan and security documents, master service agreements, conducting title examinations, and assisting in loan workouts, including through foreclosure and bankruptcy.Trey has been ranked by his peers for two consecutive years among the 2017 and 2018 Louisiana Rising Stars in Business & Corporate Law. Trey also has experience in commercial and general litigation, and is admitted to practice in all Louisiana state courts, in federal court in Louisiana. His work has spanned the stages of electronic discovery, dispositive motions, pre-trial motions, writ applications, appeals, and settlements. Trey’s representative matters also include:•Representing a banking clients in the sale of real estate, foreclosure, and debt restructuring.•Representing an oil and gas distributor in acquisition of assets, including real estate and bulk plants, and collections in their contractual disputes.•Representing numerous clients form and organize business entities in a variety of industries. •Representing sellers and buyers in the purchase and sale of stock and LLC membership interests.•Representing a state university in student discipline cases, including the analysis of constitutional due process issues.Trey received his J.D. in 2013 from Vanderbilt University Law School, where he participated in the Moot Court Board and served as Secretary of the Vanderbilt Alternative Dispute Resolution Organization from 20••••12. He earned his B.A.in political science in 2010 from the University of Notre Dame, and he currently serves as the President of the Notre Dame Club of South Louisiana and on the Board of Directors for the Swine Palace Theater
