ABOUT TREY SHUEY

I am a direct admit to the University of Toledo’s Doctor of Pharmacy program, class of 2028, where I’m also pursuing an MBA alongside my PharmD. I accelerated my first two years of undergraduate studies, completing 4 semesters of content in three semesters with a perfect GPA, and I am actively working towards the completion of my PharmD and MBA.As a brother of Kappa Psi Pharmaceutical Fraternity, I’ve built lasting connections with driven pharmacy students and future healthcare leaders. I gained research experience in Dr. Jianglong Zu’s organic carbohydrate synthesis lab, preparing reactions, applying purification techniques, and analyzing products with proton NMR.Outside of pharmacy, I bring diverse experiences in writing, design, and entrepreneurship. As writer and page designer for RNDM’s Travel Newsletter, I played a critical role in scaling the audience to over subscribers. This role expanded into consulting, marketing, and business growth—skills that continue to shape my perspective.I am also proficient in Spanish and continually working toward using it in both professional and social settings.My goal is to combine my scientific training, business acumen, and creative background to build a versatile career in the pharmaceutical industry.
