Enterprise Blockchain @ KaleidoVolunteer Firefighter and EMT at Northern Wake Fire DepartmentI am a technologist, Firefighter (not metaphorically, I get on the big red trucks), Tar Heel, married to Rachel, and dog dad to Stevie.I have a passion for understanding emerging technology and its real world applications. The two technologies that excite me the most are AR/VR, where I worked on integration of realistic VR scenes and NLP technology to help people become a better speaker, and blockchain technology.I started my blockchain journey reading as many protocol whitepapers as I could. For a time I worked as an analyst at a Rengen, the crypto trading arm of a larger family office, where I researched protocols and communities that were pushing the boundaries of financial technology all across the DeFi space (Curve, Tokemak, Ohm, Aave, LooksRare, etc)At Kaleido, I act as an advocate for our customers across their entire journey with us. I create and present platform demos, support our compliance activities (including our SOC 2 and ISO audits annually), work with customers on contracting, and ensure their successful onboarding and implementation of Kaleido. I\'ve worked with commercial banks, central banks, asset managers, payments networks, fund managers, tokenization start ups, and CSDs to help them implement a wide variety of tokenization or blockchain related use cases on Kaleido.In my community, I\'m a dedicated Volunteer Firefighter and EMT with the Northern Wake Fire Department. In three years since joining I\'ve become an EMT, completed countless classes and certifications, learned about emergency management and operations, and helped countless people on what is sometimes the worst day of their life. The effort here has been both personally fulfilling, but also gives me differentiated insight into emergency management which I apply in my full time job.Please reach out if you\'d like to chat!
