For nearly twenty years I have been the Managing Director of Dowse Engineering Ltd, a precision component engineering company based in Bletchley, near Milton Keynes. We hold the Aerospace & Defence AS9100 accreditation from the NQA awarding body as well as ISO 9001. We are a high quality precision component manufacturer running a fleet of 5-Axis, Horizontal CNC milling, finishing and inspection metrology machines from our 11,500 square foot engineering facility. We also use the latest CAD / CAM production techniques with OpenMind. This allows us to manufacture highly complex components to tight deadlines. Our services range from producing one off components or prototypes to larger batch requirements in a variety of materials including exotics. Our primary sectors include- Aerospace - Defense - Motorsport & Automotive - Telecoms - Medical components All our Aerospace products are subject to stringent quality control processes. We source from approved vendors where batch numbers, traceability certification are part of our NQA AS9100 accreditation. We are also happy to work with free issue materials for other sectors. Dowse Engineering are all about quality and service. In support of our commitment to our AS9100 quality management system, the Directors have set the following customer focused quality objectives. These objectives will be supported by implementing process effectiveness analysis reports to monitor performance and improvement of our core processes. Objective 1 To achieve an on time delivery performance above 95% to all of our customers by the end of 2015. This will be measured on a Monthly basis starting in January 2015 Objective 2 To deliver products right first time with a performance target of 97%. To be achieved by the end of 2015.
