My business cards have said such things as: software developer, manager, product manager and now VP Development. But when you get right down to it, I’m much more — I am a maker, tinkerer, and a leader at heart. I continuously crave to improve, evolve and adapt but most importantly, I am driven by my love of asking.Why? I have recruited and built great teams and if they were to describe me it would be “roadblock remover”. My goal is to make their lives easier so they can reach their highest potential! High potential talent is only valuable if continues to be challenged and learn. Mentoring my team to become highly successful in their own right is a two-way street I travel every day. My experience is varied; working at multiple startups and multiple large enterprises. I have led and lived transforming a 120-person development team from waterfall to agile to DevOps. I went from delivering products every six months to every week. I design & create products that people love. I thrive on dissecting what makes a compelling user experience. Whether it is getting out of the office for user research, running design thinking workshops or writing agile stories for developers, I love it all.
