Responsible to establish and execute Scout’s North America Exterior sourcing and supply strategy for all of Scout’s BEV production in the North American Region- Lead a cross-matrixed team of buyers, who will have the direct responsibility to source and secure supply for all Exterior-related components for Scout’s BEV products in North America, such Roof, Lighting, Wiping and Sealing Systems- Lead the development and industrialization of Scout’s suppliers in North America.Work together with others in the Scout team by participating in pre-sourcing audits to confirm acceptability of new suppliers- Establish sourcing strategy for assigned commodities and product groups, lead the sourcing process up to and including contract award- Act as program manager during the pre-production phase, ensuring that all industrialization at suppliers achieve the project requirements in terms of timing, cost, and quality- Lead cross-functional evaluation of suppliers’ preparedness for mass-production, together with Scout Quality, Engineering, and Logistics teams.
