I received my Bachelors Degree in Emergency Management from Utah Valley University, and recently completed a Masters of Public Service. Ever since I knew this is what I wanted to do professionally, I have hit the ground running. I work hard at gaining all the knowledge and experience I can, to be the best, most qualified, well-rounded, and committed Emergency Management Professional that I can be. I actively look to build relationships with outside entities, who would be invaluable in an emergency or disaster. I also offer my time and services to volunteer agencies and departments, to help in any way I can, and gain more experience. Currently I work as the Emergency Manager for Spanish Fork City, and I love helping provide a safer living, learning, and thriving environment for the citizens here. I strive for excellence and am committed to succeed in all my endeavors.

1. Emergency Manager and Fire Inspector

   I am responsible for planning, coordinating, and leading a community’s preparedness, response, recovery, and mitigation efforts for disasters and emergencies. This includes developing emergency plans, conducting training and exercises, coordinating with local, state, and federal partners, and ensuring effective communication before, during, and after incidents.In addition, I work to prevent fires and life safety hazards by conducting inspections of buildings and sites to ensure compliance with fire codes and safety regulations. Duties include reviewing plans, educating the public and businesses on fire safety, investigating fire causes when needed, and working with property owners to reduce risks and protect lives and property.
